Daily Intake 19.05.11

⚫ The Full Metal Panic spin-off light novel series, Full Metal Panic Another, will be be launched into operation on the 20th of June! Or so the latest announcement says. I’m glad the FMP series still has a future, and now I’m just hoping that KyoAni will work up the guts to do another season! (source)

⚫ Planning has advanced for an anime adaptation of Monthly Young Ace’s serial, Brad Rad (Buraddo Rad). It’ assumed to be a TV-anime airing this fall season, but no other details are known yet (this announcement was leaked early based on the cover of the next issue of Monthly Young Ace). (source)

⚫ Govenor Ishihara said that the Earthquake stopping ACE (Anime Contents Expo) from going ahead, “serves them right” and that the organisers of the event had a persecution complex regarding his Bill 156. It’s definitely true that the companies involved were doing it in protest of Ishihara’s new regulations, including pulling out of TAF en masse, however this is just another example of his bad attitude. (source)

⚫ The Strike Witches BD “Movie-version Commemoration Edition” Boxset sold 5000 copies, which is pretty good considering the expense! (source)

⚫ The biggest news of the week was the announcement of the Ore wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai anime adaptation! A lot of people saw this coming (including myself). Given the popularity of the light novels it was practically screaming for an adaptation! (source)

⚫ Astarotte no Omocha managed to climb to 12th on the Amazon bestseller rankings (from preorders). Promising! Frankly, I think this anime deserves to sell quite well! (source)

    ## I watched Kaiji 7 today and … wow. Just wow. That was one hell of an episode! The BGM for this season of Kaiji has really been top-shelf and I now find myself anticipating the OST. I actually put the music of Kaiji 2 above that of Akagi!

well no one wanted it like that, so I think it has something more with 156 than with the earthquake.. anyway the earthquake have been unattached to any events in japan.

  2. I knew the anime adaptation was coming soon enough. Wish they would’ve adapted Sword Art Online, would’ve made a good two season cour.
And DO NOT WANT the Madam Manager in bloomers.

  3. There is already some info of some titles that are going to be affected by Isihara law. there are some reasonable cases but some of them has not reason at all. But yeah Isihara is Isihara
